Tools to protect you from the unknown

Revenue Protection

Revenue Protection (RP) provides protection against a loss of revenue caused by price increase or decrease, low yields or a combination of both. This coverage guarantees an amount based on the individual producer's APH and the greater of the projected price or harvest price.

Yield Protection

The Yield Protection plan is very similar to the APH plan, but is only available on crops that are eligible for Revenue Protection. This plan of insurance provides protection against a loss of production.

Whole Farm Insurance

Whole-Farm Revenue Protection allows producers to insure a variety of commodities; offering fruit and vegetable growers, organic growers and producers that have more diversified farms, more flexible and affordable risk management options.

Crop Hail Insurance

Many farmers purchase Crop-Hail coverage because hail can uniquely, completely destroy a significant part of a planted field, while leaving the rest undamaged. Unlike MPCI, a Crop-Hail policy can be purchased at any time during the growing season.

Actual Production History

The APH plan of crop insurance provides the producer protection against a loss of production due to nearly all unavoidable, natural occurring events. For most crops, that includes drought, excess moisture, cold and frost, wind, flood and unavoidable damage from insects and disease. Many of our perennial crops such as apples, peaches and grapes fall under the APH plan, as well as crops that do not have revenue coverage available.

Pasture, Rangeland, Forage

Pasture, Rangeland, and Forage (PRF) insurance was designed to help protect a producer’s operation from the risks of forage loss due to the lack of precipitation. The PRF program utilizes a rainfall index to determine precipitation for coverage purposes, and does not measure production or loss of products themselves.
